Ok!!! I had to the break the ice of my blogging fast with Lily and Mike's amazing honeymoon session in Kauai this fall. I have so much to blog from 2008 that I decided to just start in the middle and work my way forwards and backwards... so we will be jumping all over the place in the next couple of days.
I have been blessed with some of the most amazing clients this past year and cannot wait to share their amazing events.
Lily and Mike in Kauai:
I had the pleasure of shooting both a lifestyle session and a post wedding shoot while in Kauai with them. These sessions take on many forms from silly and crazy to romantic and sexy... We are very organic with our couples and the let the session develop into whatever it is meant to be. I decided to focus on capturing them within the landscape. These portraits both capture the natural beauty of the place and the passion that is between them. They are meant to be taken from afar accentuating the couples closeness. We had to work to get to some of these places... See first image which is shot on the North Side of Kauai along the Hanakapiai Falls Trail.
Hawaii is one my favorite places to shoot!!!

Here are a few more that I fell in love with.
Life with an Aquatica Underwater Housing for my Nikon D3

Some of the "For Him" shots that Mike and I styled together. One of the beautiful things about these sessions is that the groom can be (if he wants) hands on posing his wife how he likes. :)
And one from their wedding day.
